Buddhism On Stamps
Buddhism on Stamps Exhibition
was held at the Singapore Philatelic Museum from 16 July to
19 November 2000. The exhibition showcased the philatelic
collection of Venerable Hai Yuen, a philatelist-monk from
Taiwan. Also on display were Buddhist artefacts on loan from
organisations and individuals. These included Buddha figurines,
images on paintings, sculptures, thangka, some of which were
also objects depicted on stamps.
