The permanent galleries of the museum introduce the world of philately, the world's first stamp, and how stamps are a window to the world to explore different topics such as science, technology, history and culture; the process of how stamps are birthed from their theme selection, design conceptualisation, printing methods and their circulation through the mail. The Room of Rarities showcases stamps and archival philatelic materials from 1800s till present day, and artefacts relating to Singapore's postal history.

Thematic exhibitions are held regularly and change year-round. Capturing current events and spanning over broad themes, they promise something for everyone.
