2002 - Singapore National Stamp Exhibition
26 July - 1 September 2002
This
exhibition comprises youth and school group entries from
the Singapore National Stamp Exhibition 2002 (Singpex
02).
Youth Category
On display are 44 panels of philatelic collections from
secondary school and junior college students. These entries
are on contemporary themes, as well as on traditional
philately.

SPM
and the organising committee of Singpex created the school
group category in 2001 to encourage participation in the
national stamp exhibition. Workshops on stamp-collecting
including a follow-up session with Raffles Junior College
Stamp Society volunteers, were held for student groups.
38 entries from primary and secondary schools are on display,
with topics ranging from religion, history and sports.
