Usher in the Yuletide season with a beautiful range of Christmas stamps at Singapore Philatelic Museum. Discover the different types of spices used in traditional Christmas food, such as Christmas pudding, fruit cake, turkey and ham, and local Eurasian fare.
Although western in origin, many Christmas recipes would not be complete without herbs and spices from the Far East. Once worth their weight in gold, some of these herbs and spices such as nutmeg, were grown only in Southeast Asia. Discover how these delightful condiments are used to flavour foods and their significance in local traditional beliefs.
The exhibition includes a display of maxicards by Mr Leong Kweng Loon, member of Zui You Philatelic Society.
