The Theme Galleries house exhibits of varying themes reflected through philatelic materials, artefacts and objects. Visitors learn more about these themes through multi-media interactives and hands-on exhibits and displays.

  Celebrate the Year of the Tiger at SPM with this fun and educational exhibition for children, and admire beautiful tiger stamps, including zodiac stamps from all over the world.
 
  See over 100 rare Japanese dolls which are handmade by dolls masters from Traditional Edo-Kimekomi Dolls Sachiei-Kai, Japan. Sachiei-Kai has generously donated the dolls to SPM. The dolls depict Chinese zodiac animals and Japanese during the Edo period (1603 – 1867). These traditional dolls are found in most Japanese families. They are displayed as decoration pieces in homes, especially during festivals such as Hina Matsuri (Japanese Doll Festival or Girls’ Day) and Children’s Day.
 
  Discover what defines the people of this country whose hospitality is legendary. Through beautiful stamps of Philippines and interactive displays, learn about the country’s rich and diverse culture, and journey through its breathtaking natural sites.
 
  Colours of Heritage, A Travelling Exhibition is brought to you by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) and National Heritage Board (NHB).
 
  Kids, come have fun at the ‘post office’! Weigh your letters and find out the postage rates. Learn about the postman and postal workers, how the post started, and see different types of mail boxes from around the world!
