The Adventures of Tintin exhibition
"The Adventures of Tintin" exhibition celebrates the works of Hergé, explores the influences in his work and career, and the development of characters in the comic series. The exhibition features the full range of Tintin postage stamps issued by Belgium, France and the Netherlands from the Permanent Collection of the Singapore Philatelic Museum. Rarely seen original stamp artworks, colour trials, and other philatelic materials from the Museum Voor Communicatie in the Netherlands and L'Adresse Musée de La Poste in France are on display for the first time in Singapore.

Elephant Stampede exhibition
The elephant-themed stamp exhibition traces the evolution of mammoths to elephants, the shrinking of elephant habitats, and factors that have caused the reduction in elephant populations. Visitors can engage in interactive exhibits to differentiate African and Asian elephants, as well as learn fun facts about elephants. This exhibition is held in conjunction with Elephant Parade Singapore 2011.

National Stamp Collecting Competition 2011
The National Stamp Collecting Competition prize presentation ceremony was held at the National Library on 3 September 2011. Guest-of-Honour, Mr Edmund Chen, Singapore Post Stamp Ambassador, graced the event. The annual stamp competition drew more than 750 participants from 11 primary schools, and 16 secondary schools, and tertiary institutions.
