SPM is organising the National Stamp Collecting Competition in September 2010. In the competition, participants use stamps and philatelic materials to explore a variety of topics such as nature, science and culture. Participants will gain learning and thinking skills such as language development, organisation, writing and research. Top winners stand to win awards, and their winning entries will be displayed.

Colours of Heritage, A Travelling Exhibition is brought to you by the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts (MICA) and National Heritage Board (NHB).

This novel museum on wheels showcases an exciting offering of traditional games, food preparation techniques and ethnic fabrics. Discover interesting facts about stamps, and how they chronicle significant events, personalities of the world, history, heritage and cultures of countries! You can follow a guided tour through the different exhibitions at the museum, or go at your own pace.

Singapore Philatelic Museum is an approved institution under the Learning Journeys Programme.

Pre-School Programmes

SPM is an excellent venue to start pre-schoolers aged 4 to 6 years on museum education. Its child-friendly environment offers ample opportunities for hands-on learning under close supervision by education staff.
