National Stamp Collecting Competition 

Would you like your students to sharpen their research, organisation, language and writing skills?

Take part in the National Stamp Collecting Competition 2019! The competition allows students to select and research a topic of their choice.

Findings are to be presented through the English language as well as the Mother Tongue languages; Chinese, Malay and Tamil, and a variety of philatelic materials.

Till 30 June, sign up for workshops to learn the dos and don’ts of the competition. These workshops will be held in your school premises.  A minimum of 20 students are required.  Charges: $4.00 per pax.

Entry forms must be submitted by Friday, 24 May 2019 while the Submission of Entries close on Friday, 12 July 2019, 5:00pm

Winning entries will be displayed at NLB in end August 2019, and winners will be awarded Gold and Silver trophies, and certificates.  Schools also stand to compete for the Championship trophy.

Draw My Stamp Story Art Competition

Singapore Philatelic Museum is inviting young artists in primary and secondary schools to take part in the Draw My Stamp Story Art Competition!  This competition allows students to understand and appreciate the importance of designs reflected on Singapore stamps.  Students use a minimum of one, or up to a maximum of three unused Singapore stamps and create a background to complement the stamps. 

Entry forms must be submitted by Friday, 24 May 2019. Submission of artworks close on Friday, 12 July 2019

Winning entries will be displayed at NLB in end August 2019, and winners will be awarded Gold and Silver trophies, and certificates.
